For this time we are moving into slow, dark and tortuous sounds, into landscapes close to raw and primitive funeral doom with a band that was able to innovate and bring a true breath of fresh air, and what it’s better, a journey through yet unexplored lands, to this underworld where it seems to be everything already conceived, incorporating to their music cold black metal traces, tribal rhythms, real experimental elements or even drone passages in order to build something different and absolutely personal...

We are talking, no doubt, about the Spanish impressive outfit Hipoxia, a band that, recording after recording, album after album, has grown exponentially reaching today its fully maturity, evolving its sound in order to bring it to this perfect point of experimentation where all those elements, antagonistic at first sight, seems to have been created to coexist in this true sonic amalgam called Hipoxia that impel the listener to walk forbidden way...
