This amazing initiatory long EP laids the foundations of Dioivo's so personal way of playing extreme music, an incredible manner that shocked us all with their debut full-length "Dioivo II", mixing quality melodic black metal in a Swedish vein played with overwhelming technique, plenty of thrash metal touches, acoustic interludes and lyrics sung in Galician language…

An EP that was only distributed locally in its first edition, that now we are reissuing as it should be, in a “made in Darkwoods” very special format, strongly limited and plenty of bonus stuff... there are so many, that we have decided to gather them all in a second CD in order to organize better the songs, looking for a comprehensive way of listening the whole thing...

Note: The six bonus tracks from the second CD are also included with all digital purchases.

The first 30 seconds of "Revenge by Fire" convinced me to get the whole album! It is a face-melting blend of speed and black metal, reminiscent of Hellripper! KVAEN is a Swedish solo project much like Hellripper but many known guest musicians helped J. Björnfot in his endeavor. Altogether it is really a solid debut album, I loved the melodies and the pace changes in the second half too, ending with a "calm" instrumental one. Well-done!! sachavonkarl74

French Pagan Black Metal. This is some fantastic & epic sounding BM. Atti said it best, it really is melodic folk heaven! It is not something I could listen to on repeat but it is definitely an album I will come back to many times! Beautiful music & highly recommended!!! bmurator
